Eastbourne Borough have signed Farnborough Town defender Sacha Opinel on a one-month loan deal.
The French-born 32-year-old was released by Ebbsfleet United at the end of last season and also had a spell at Crawley Town.
He goes straight into the squad for Boro's Blue Square Premier match against Rushden & Diamonds on Tuesday.
"Sacha has had a spell out of the side due to the recent poor weather and suspension," Farnborough boss Steve King told his club website.
"He acknowledges the current form of Nic Ciardini, Jamie Stevens and new signing Craig Braham-Barrett and he was frank in his opinion that it would be better for all parties that he was playing as opposed to sitting on the bench.
"It is testament to his ability, experience and reputation that he has signed for a club at the highest level of non-league football. He remains very much part of my plans."
