Banished Chester City have finally been wound up following a High Court hearing in London, bringing to an end their 126-year existence.
The Deva Stadium club were recently expelled from the Football Conference as they owed HM Revenue & Customs £26,125 in unpaid taxes, while also failing to honour their last two Blue Square Premier fixtures
They were initially suspended from competition before then being thrown out of the league last month.
Supporters group City Fans United are now likely to start a new club in a lower league.
