Ten-man Eastbourne Borough survived the dismissal of Neil Jenkins early in the second-half to still come out on top against Wrexham.
Boro took the lead on eighteen minutes as Jamie Taylor headed in following a swift counterattack.
But they were reduced in number after Jenkins was sent-off for a 55th minute challenge on Jamie McCluskey, although Liam Enver-Marum seized upon a poor back pass to add their second just four minutes later.
However, Mike Williams guaranteed them a nervous finale with a consolation for the visitors with fourteen minutes remaining.
