Brian Wake scored twice as Gateshead completed a shock victory in front of more than seven thousand fans
at Field Mill.

The former Carlisle United striker netted at the beginning of each half, with his first on five minutes courtesy of an excellent 20-yard strike.
After Jake Speight had shot weakly for the home side, it was Wake then adding his second of the afternoon following a close-range finish three minutes into the second period.
Speight later went close for the Stags, whose Gary Silk also hit the crossbar during a contest in which supporters were invited to pay their own selected admission prices.
