Ex-Oxford United striker Yemi Odubade struck a hat-trick as Stevenage Borough leapfrogged his former club at the top of the table with a convincing triumph over Barrow at Broadhall Way.

His first arrived close to the half-hour with a low drive into the bottom corner before Scott Laird finished well to add a second just before the break.

Odubade then doubled his own tally courtesy of another smart finish into the bottom corner as the home side effectively sealed victory on the hour.

And for good measure Odubade completed his hat-trick when thumping a shot into the top corner six minutes before the end.
