Barrow joint-boss David Bayliss was anticipating a tough challenge when York City arrive at Holker Street for their delayed FA Trophy quarter-final on Tuesday evening.
The two sides have already contested a scoreless draw at the same venue earlier in the season. And Bayliss was certainly expecting another tight encounter as the pair vie for a semi-final meeting with Salisbury City.
"It's going to be a tough game but we fancy our chances on our own pitch and obviously so will York. I think luck may even come into it," he told the FA's official website.
"The league has always been our priority but it's always good getting further in the cups because it brings in the money. In saying that, the lads are raring to go. They know this is a big game.
"York are a very good, well organised team and hard to beat. They are very dangerous up front with two good strikers in Michael Rankine and Richard Brodie."
However, Barrow won't need to worry about their former loan striker Brodie as he is suspended, while the hosts will similarly lack ineligible forward duo Nick Chadwick and Lee McEvilly.
