York City travel to Cambridge United this weekend looking to maintain their challenge on the Blue Square Premier's leading clubs.
The visitors will hand late fitness tests to top scorer Richard Brodie and midfielder Chris Carruthers after they both sufferered knocks in the midweek draw at Newport County. Fellow schemer Alex Lawless will also require a check after missing that game.

“Brodes took a big blow to his thigh and Chris one to his hip so they both look doubtful. Alex Lawless also has a knee problem that will need to be monitored before we decide who can play.” manager Martin Foyle told The Press.
However, defender David McGurk and midfielder Levi Mackin were both rested in midweek and are expected to return.
“Dave McGurk hadn’t trained for a long time before playing against Hayes so we didn’t want to overload him by playing him at Wales because the last thing I want is him breaking down,” Foyle added.
“Levi Mackin was also on six bookings and I wanted to look at a different partnership in case we need to use it in the future.”
Foyle was calling on his side to match their excellent home form on their travels.
"There’s a massive difference between our home and away form," he continued.
“I can see that in our make-up and the way we play.
“We’ve got to be mentally and physically stronger all around the pitch.
“I’ve been studying the Blue Square Premier for a while now and teams like Stevenage are big and strong and grind out results away from home.
“We need to win our battles like they do.”
Cambridge are on the verge of selling their sixteen-goal leading scorer Chris Holroyd to Brighton & Hove Albion after accepting an undisclosed bid.
Meanwhile, ex-Kidderminster Harriers and Rushden & Diamonds centre-back Wayne Hatswell plays his last game for the club before he joins Dundalk.
The Minstermen have already won once at Cambridge this season in the FA Cup. But Foyle was expecting another difficult challenge despite their recent poor form.
“They’ve been the best side to come to Bootham Crescent and were just as strong away from home when we went there in the FA Cup," he conceded.
"Their confidence is a bit low but they have got some key players back now who have been missing.”
