York City's home clash with Mansfield Town will go ahead subject to a final 1pm pitch inspection.
The club reported that around 60 volunteers were clearing the snow from the playing surface from early morning and the match referee has since declared himself satisfied the pitch is playable.
Providing that the situation does not change the game is expected to go ahead as scheduled.
