The management at Crewe Alexandra have still to decide if former York striker Clayton Donaldson will face his old club in the FA Cup first round this weekend.

Donaldson has made a couple of appearances since recovering from a fractured fibula that he suffered in August.

“He looks sharp and hasn’t lost any of his pace and may start up front with Calvin Zola,” Alex's assistant manager Steve Davis told The Press.

“We haven’t decided yet though and Shaun Miller did well up there in the last match so, unless he has any problems, he will probably retain his place.”
