York City manager Martin Foyle gave credit to FA Trophy third round opponents Corby Town after a narrow victory for his side at KitKat Crescent.
Andy Ferrell's penalty five minutes before the break was all that eventually separated the two teams. And the visitors could easily have forced a replay as they went close on more than one occasion during the closing moments.
"Give credit to Corby because they're a decent side, I've seen them before," Foyle told BBC Radio York.
"It was a game my players had to give 100 per cent, roll their sleeves up and they certainly did that for me.
"The draw's going to be very important so we just have to wait and see. Stevenage and Oxford are obviously going to be the big favourites, but sometimes the draw can be kind to you."
Also still in the competition are Blue Square North outfit Workington, who surprisingly knocked out AFC Wimbledon at the weekend.
Meanwhile, Cambridge United v Salisbury City, Worcester City v Kidderminster Harriers, Barrow v Gateshead and Guiseley v Tamworth still have third round ties to complete.
