York City manager Martin Foyle was delighted with a point following a battling 1-1 draw at Luton Town.
Neil Barrett fired the visitors ahead with his first goal for the club on 36 minutes. But the home side dominated after the break with Asa Hall drilling home an equaliser just after the hour.Foyle told BBC Radio York: "It was a a very good performance. I'm delighted with the first half, we could have been 2-0 up. We had two blatant penalties turned down - the lads were livid.
"We ground out a very hard well earned point - it was a bit like the Alamo. I was pleased - we could have snatched it right at the end.
"We've had a hard run. We've got some home games coming up so there's a chance to get some points on the board."
