York City centre-back David McGurk could miss the FA Trophy visit to Newport County at the weekend.

McGurk suffered a calf injury during the 3-1 defeat at Stoke City in the FA Cup on Saturday.

“Dave is professional and came off at the right time," manager Martin Foyle told The Press.

"It’s not as bad as we thought but he will be touch and go for Saturday.”
