York City centre-back Djoumin Sangare could be out of action for up to a month after limping out of the 3-1 defeat at Crawley Town.
The former Salisbury City defender suffered a groin injury and has already been ruled out of the FA Cup first round showdown with Crewe Alexandra at the weekend. He will also miss home games with Ebbsfleet and Chester and might remain unavailable until December.
York chief Martin Foyle told the Press: “Jimmy has a sore groin and it’s very hard to put a time-scale on how long he will be out, but it could be two, three or four weeks.

“We’ve got to let it settle down first and then see how he is.”
Meanwhile, fellow defender David McGurk hasn't trained this week after struggling with the virus that affected several of his colleagues.
But skipper Danny Parslow, Ben Purkiss, Neil Barrett, Adam Smith and Craig Nelthorpe have all recovered.
“David McGurk has not been in which is a bit of a concern, but hopefully he will be back tomorrow because all the other players feel better now.” he continued.
Foyle is still to recall Alan O’Hare from his loan spell at Gainsborough Trinity, but is likely to do so in time for him to take his place on the bench against Crewe.Striker Richard Pacquette will also return to the squad after overcoming a pulled thigh muscle.
“Richard has done a lot of running and is okay now," added Foyle. “He’s ready to join in and I could have done with somebody like him on Saturday as we looked a bit tired.”
