A virus has swept through KitKat Crescent and left half-a-dozen York City players struggling to make the weekend visit to Crawley Town.
Skipper Danny Parslow would seem to have been the first struck down after he was forced to sit out the recent FA Cup first round victory over Bedworth United.
But he would appear to have been joined by at least five of his colleagues, although manager Martin Foyle was reluctant to reveal identities.
He did confirm, however, that the club would not be requesting a postponement as the Conference board were unlikely to respond favourably.
Foyle also indicated that he doesn't intend making any emergency loan signings to compensate for the potential multiple losses.
