York City have no 'fringe players' within their twenty-one man squad according to manager Martin Foyle.

Foyle has stated that all of his players are in the reckoning for places as the Minstermen continue their valiant quest of finally reclaiming their Football League place.

"We are trying to keep the group together and they all want to play a part in the success," Foyle told The Press. "They have all done very well. The fitness levels are very high. We knew they would probably tire against Corby.

"It has given us food for thought. What has been more pleasing is their attitude. They want to get into the starting 11. I have got a fantastic group of players - 21 players - and they will all get a chance in the starting 11.

"People say 'you are playing fringe players', I take that a little bit personally. They have all been signed on and they can all do a job."
