David McGurk (York City) information
Centre-back David McGurk is currently the longest-serving player at York City.

He was born in Middlesbrough on 30th September 1982 and started his professional career with Darlington.

After three successful loan spells with the Minstermen, McGurk signed a full contract in June 2006 and soon helped the club into the play-offs.

He was named 'Clubman of the Year' in 2007-08, and also appeared in York's FA Trophy final defeat to Stevenage Borough at Wembley Stadium at the end of last season.

Vastly experienced peformer with almost 200 senior appearances for City.
